Governor Beshear Reports Highest Week Ever for COVID-19 Cases

Governor Andy Beshear announced 2,194 new cases across the state Sunday.

Governor Andy Beshear announced 2,194 new cases across the state Sunday.

He announced Sunday's COVID-19 case report is the highest ever for a Sunday.

The second highest Sunday was Oct. 25, when the Governor reported 1,462 new cases, 732 fewer than he announced today.

In addition, this was Kentucky’s highest week ever for new COVID-19 cases, surpassing the previous record week by 3,766 cases.

Daviess: 2,948 including 42 deaths
Henderson: 1,830 including 36 deaths
Hancock: 265 including 10 deaths
McLean: 355 including 13 deaths
Ohio: 858 including 15 deaths
Union: 674 including 6 deaths
Webster: 497 including 5 deaths
Hopkins: 1621 including 46 deaths
Muhlenberg: 1,314 including 19 deaths
