Graduation Ceremony For Owensboro High Set For Friday Night

Seniors from Owensboro High School will get to celebrate their graduation at Rash Stadium this evening.

Another high school in the Tri-State will hold their graduation ceremony Friday night.

Owensboro High School will host its Class of 2020 Graduation tonight at Rash Stadium.  Ceremony is slated to start at 8 P.M.

There will be changes to the ceremony due to the pandemic and social distancing:

- Everyone must wear masks.

- Social distancing followed when entering Rash Stadium, when seated during the ceremony, and when leaving the stadium.

- Students may start arriving at 7:15 and will be escorted to their seats by counselors and teachers.  There will be no procession into the stadium.

- Each graduate is allowed 3 guests that have to be registered before the ceremony.  Guests must have a ticket to get in.

- The stadium will hold up to a max capacity of 1,000 people.

There will also be graduation ceremonies on Sunday at RiverPark Center.  Seniors at Owensboro Innovation Academy will have their ceremony at 2PM and Emerson Academy will be at 5PM.
