HGTV is heading to Santa Claus, Indiana. Producers with the network will soon head to the Spencer County town for "Surprising Santa Claus."

As part of the special -- two homeowners will be surprised with home renovations. Santa Claus is best known for its post office that receives hundreds of thousands of pieces of mail late each year. The executive director of the Spencer County Visitors Bureau says she's hopeful the T.V. show will bring more visitors to town once the pandemic is over.

We headed out to cloudy skies and some damp conditions this morning across the Tri-State. We've been tracking scattered showers for the first part of the day. While it’s been mostly cloudy, there will be some sunshine as soon as we get the rain out of the area. Temperatures are still expected to reach unseasonably warm values this afternoon. With some sunshine and winds out of the southwest highs should have no problem reaching the upper 50s and lower 60s. Clouds will clear out, but the southerly wind flow will keep overnight lows in the low to mid 40s. Tomorrow morning won't be all that bad considering it will be December 2nd.
