Princeton Theater is gearing up to open its doors for a new play starting on April 23rd.

Back in December, the theater had to make a difficult decision to cancel its Christmas production, "A Christmas Story." But now as vaccinations continue to rollout, officials have announced their return to the entertainment world.

The first big production this year will be "Four Old Broads," a story about a retired burlesque queen that tries to persuade her friend on going on a vacation away from the nursing home. Things take a turn when the nursing home hires a new nurse. An evil plan starts to unfold surrounding a mysterious pill and the gals must find a way to outsmart the new nurse.

The production will start April 23rd at 7pm and will continue until May 2.

If interested in purchasing tickets, they can be bought online or at the theater's box office.

For more information, call the box office number at (812)-635-9185.

The combination of sunshine and southerly winds will make for another abnormally mild day throughout the Ohio Valley - expect an afternoon high temperature near 69° this afternoon. Friday evening looks as though it will be just as pleasant; after seeing the upper 60s earlier in the day, we'll dip to 60° by 5 PM before falling towards 54° around 7 o’clock. We are however, watching a passing low pressure system and accompanying cold front that is expected to pass through the Tri-State late Friday evening and early Saturday morning.
