TONIGHT: The threat of severe storms will subside through the evening, especially after midnight. Overcast skies will linger through most of the night. By 4 AM, widespread clusters of showers and storms will develop. Expect a morning low of 72.

THURSDAY: Scattered rounds of showers will continue through most of the day. The heaviest will be moving in by the late morning as a cold front progress through the Tri State. Through the afternoon and evening hours communities will begin to dry out from north-to-south. Afternoon highs will range between the upper-70s and low-80s.

THURSDAY NIGHT: Skies will continue to clear as cooler air invades in. Morning lows will cool into the low-60s.

FRIDAY & WEEKEND: Outside of a few passing clouds, the sunny skies will return as we wrap up the workweek. In addition to the drier conditions, afternoon highs will be limited to the low-80s. The manageable humidity will also be a plus if you have any outdoor activities planned. Expect mid-80s and sunny skies for the 4th.

The combination of sunshine and southerly winds will make for another abnormally mild day throughout the Ohio Valley - expect an afternoon high temperature near 69° this afternoon. Friday evening looks as though it will be just as pleasant; after seeing the upper 60s earlier in the day, we'll dip to 60° by 5 PM before falling towards 54° around 7 o’clock. We are however, watching a passing low pressure system and accompanying cold front that is expected to pass through the Tri-State late Friday evening and early Saturday morning.
