Friday night around 9 PM, Henderson County Sheriff deputies were dispatched to the area of Kennedy Circle to serve a warrant service.
Deputies went to Paul Schwartz's residence, and upon entry, found 2 children, over 100 used needles containing blood and heroin, and large animal feces in several locations on the property.
Authorities say, they immediately notified social services to begin an investigation after removing the children from the home, taking them with a family member.
Paul Schwartz was subsequently arrested for a felony probation violation and transported to the Henderson County Detention Center.
Pennyrile Narcotics Task Force (PNTF) then took over and discovered heroin, marijuana, and several variants of pills located on the scene.
