Henderson Co. Woman Arrested for Drugs in Vehicle

Saturday night, Henderson County Sheriff deputies attempted to stop a speeding vehicle.

Saturday night, Henderson County Sheriff deputies attempted to stop a speeding vehicle.

The driver fled, and according to the press release, 20 minutes after the initial encounter, deputies stopped the vehicle at the intersection of N. Green and Powell St.

According to officials, after investigating the vehicle, deputies discovered methamphetamine, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia inside the vehicle. 

The driver and sole occupant, Michelle Schaefer, was arrested for drug possession and booked in the Henderson County Detention Center.
