Henderson Community College will soon open the HCC Care Center to provide assistance meeting the basic needs of its students. The center will provide pantry items like non-perishable food and personal hygiene items.

Any student is eligible to use the resources that the care center will provide. There are no income restrictions and the use of the pantry will not affect the students’ financial aid, according to the college.

The grand opening of the care center is scheduled for April 12 in the Sullivan Technology Center (STC) Courtyard by the lake on HCC’s campus.

HCC’s Care Center will be open Monday and Tuesday from 9 –11 am and on Thursdays from 3:30 – 6:00 pm.

Students may use the care center once per month.
