A Kentucky public library will be closed for the next four days due to a positive COVID test.

Henderson County Public Library announced on Facebook that they will be closed, starting Thursday, September 24th through Sunday, September 27th, for deep cleaning.

The library learned on Wednesday that an employee tested positive for COVID-19.  The employee last worked at the library during the week of Sept. 14th.  The library decided to close out of an "abundance of caution" and will allow time for other library employees to be tested.

While they are closed, there will be no curbside pick-up, however the drop box will remain open.  All online materials with the library will continue to remain available.

The Wi-Fi for the library will remain on during the closure for students and community members that need access to the internet.
