The Henderson County Public Library (HCLP) reopened to the public on Thursday, Aug. 27, after previously closing due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

New health and safety guidelines are now in place at the library. Visitors of the library are asked to wear masks, practice social distancing, and return all materials to be the drop-box in the parking lot.

Individuals coming to the library are also being asked to utilize newly-implemented hand sanitizing stations that can be found upon entry to the library.

For now, HCPL will operate at 33% capacity, and visitors are asked to limit their time inside the library to 30 minutes or less if possible.

More information on HCPL's reopening can be found within the informational reopening video provided by the library.
