A Henderson man remains behind bars following an early morning police pursuit Wednesday in downtown Henderson.
Henderson Police said that 36-year-old Ricky Roberson faces numerous charges, including Fleeing Police, Reckless Driving, Resisting Arrest, and other charges.
Just after midnight Wednesday, HPD officers attempted a traffic stop at the intersection of Washington St and South Ingram St. The vehicle, driven by Roberson, fled from police by pulling through a nearby McDonalds parking lot at a high rate of speed.
The car then cut through the Independence Bank parking lot and the German American Bank parking lot on Green Street. Roberson ended up crashing through the fence at German American and the gate at neighboring Popeyes Chicken before coming to a stop in front of Park Machine.
Roberson left the vehicle and ran from police. HPD located Roberson and arrested him in the 400 block of Washington St.
