An investigation in underway after several storage units are broken into.

Henderson Police say they were called to the 200 Block of Highway 2084 South around 2:30 p.m. Saturday.

Authorities say the owner of the storage facility told them he had surveillance video of a man breaking into a unit.

Officers say the suspect used a cutting device to cut holes into four other neighboring units to gain access.

"Extremely concerned," says Scott Teeter, Space Rental Co. General Manager. "You don't want anybody going into somebody else's belongings, much less your own. That's one of the reasons I check the building practically every day, sometimes twice a day depending on the time of the month."

Teeter says the locks have since been replaced, however the holes in the units could cost roughly $2,000 to replace.

Henderson Police are still investigating the case.

Anyone with information is asked to contact authorities at (270)-831-1295.

After a damp start to our Monday, the rain and skies gradually cleared for many of us and we were left with a pleasant and breezy, albeit humid afternoon throughout the Tri-State. The southerly winds paired with the clearer skies later in the day helped drive temperatures back into mid to low 80s for many of us. The evening ahead should remain dry and mild; after seeing temperatures around 80° dinnertime and 75° by 10PM, we'll fall off to a morning low near 69° in Evansville early Tuesday morning.
