Henderson Summer Lunch Program starts June 2nd

The Meal Pick Up Box will be available between 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Wednesdays.

Henderson County Schools will serve summer lunches once a week.

The district will begin that service on Wednesday, June 2nd.

The Meal Pick Up Box will be available between 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Children 18-and-under and Adults 21-and-under with special needs can go to one of five schools during that time:

-AB Chandler

-Bend Gate

-East Heights

-Jefferson

-Spottsville

The district will also be providing meals at summer school in June and throughout the summer at the Boys & Girls Club, JFK Center, and the Salvation Army.

We're waking up to dry and cold conditions this Tuesday morning. As we head into the afternoon, temperatures won't rise much. Highs are only going to be in the mid to upper 30s. Skies will be mostly cloudy with a chance of flurries overnight. It won't be a big snow by any stretch, but you could see some flurries flying Tuesday night into Wednesday morning around the Tri-State. Don't expect more than a dusting, with greater chances falling north of I-64.
