Holiday World & Splashin' Safari has updated its COVID-19 guidelines to reflect the latest guidance passed down by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

According to Holiday World, masks will no longer be required for fully vaccinated individuals.

Additionally, Holiday World says social distancing will no longer be required at the park for guests who are fully vaccinated.

Holiday World is encouraging anyone who's not vaccinated to follow the CDC's guidance for unvaccinated individuals: wear a mask indoors and in outdoor spaces where social distancing isn’t possible, and maintain 6 feet of physical distance between travel parties.

Officials say they'll rely on guests to follow the proper guidelines based on their vaccination status.

The park opened to the general public on Saturday, May 15.

The combination of sunshine and southerly winds will make for another abnormally mild day throughout the Ohio Valley - expect an afternoon high temperature near 69° this afternoon. Friday evening looks as though it will be just as pleasant; after seeing the upper 60s earlier in the day, we'll dip to 60° by 5 PM before falling towards 54° around 7 o’clock. We are however, watching a passing low pressure system and accompanying cold front that is expected to pass through the Tri-State late Friday evening and early Saturday morning.
