Hopkins County Reports New COVID-19 Death

Another resident of Hopkins County has died from COVID-19, the Hopkins County Health Department confirmed on Monday.

On Monday, Sept. 14, the Hopkins County Health Department (HCHD) reported one new COVID-19 death within the county.

Following Monday's report of one new COVID-19 death, the total number of confirmed COVID-19 deaths in Hopkins County is now 37.

The local health department also reported 10 new positive cases of COVID-19 within Hopkins County on Monday, bringing the county's total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases to date to 563.

So far, 456 Hopkins County residents have recovered from COVID-19.

HCHD says 75 of the county's total positive COVID-19 cases have been identified within long-term care facilities in the county.
