It was a nice change waking up to cool, but comfortable conditions this morning. While skies were clear, temperatures dipped into the low 60s overnight. The River City hit 61°. With the abundance of sunshine it didn’t take long for us to heat up during the first half of the day.

As we head into your afternoon, it's going to be hot & breezy. Highs are expected to reach the upper 80s and lower 90s. The humidity levels won't be nearly as muggy, which will be a nice change from the weekend. Winds will be a bit breezy, adding some relief to the heat.

Cooling conditions are on the way. We're tracking a cold front that is moving through the Tri-State today, but there won’t be any rain to worry about. It's expected to bring a few passing clouds and more seasonable temperatures through the middle part of this week. It’s going to be another cool, but comfortable Tuesday morning. Clearing skies are to be expected with overnight lows dropping into the low 60s. Your Tuesday afternoon is going to be close to perfect – mostly sunny with a high of 86°.

It's a seasonable and dry start to Friday, but the heat is going to turn up this afternoon. Partly sunny skies will stick around with highs in the mid to upper 80s. The humidity may take the way it feels up a notch. Those southerly winds will help push in that moisture making it feel more like the low 90s. An isolated shower can't be ruled out, but any rainfall won't ruin our plans.
