TODAY: We’re soaring back into the upper 80s and lower 90s, but it’s going to be feeling more like the triple digits this afternoon. The added heat and humidity could fuel some isolated showers and storms through the afternoon and early-evening. This activity could add some short-term relief from the heat. Otherwise, it’s going to be typical summer-like weather in the Tri-State this week.
TONIGHT: Partly cloudy skies with primarily dry conditions. There is a slight chance some pop up showers could make an appearance. Overnight lows will drop into the low 70s. Winds will stay on the calm side.
REST OF THE WEEK: Shower and storm chances will likely increase Thursday afternoon. We're tracking an inbound cold front from the northwest that could give us a good amount of rainfall tomorrow. Highs will be in the upper 80s. Unfortunately, it’s not expected to give us any long term relief from the heat and humidity.
