The House of Representatives on Wednesday voted to approve the final version of President Joe Biden's $1.9 trillion COVID-19 relief bill, which includes $1,400 stimulus payments for Americans making up to $75,000 annually, a $300 federal boost to weekly jobless benefits, and much more.

Through the American Rescue Plan, $50 billion will be distributed to small businesses, including $7 billion for the Paycheck Protection Program. The bill also provides $25 billion for relief for small and mid-sized restaurants.

The bill was approved by the House of Representatives on Wednesday by a vote of 220 to 211.

The legislation will soon head to President Biden's desk, where he's expected to sign it on Friday.

The combination of sunshine and southerly winds will make for another abnormally mild day throughout the Ohio Valley - expect an afternoon high temperature near 69° this afternoon. Friday evening looks as though it will be just as pleasant; after seeing the upper 60s earlier in the day, we'll dip to 60° by 5 PM before falling towards 54° around 7 o’clock. We are however, watching a passing low pressure system and accompanying cold front that is expected to pass through the Tri-State late Friday evening and early Saturday morning.
