More than 250 families received free food on Tuesday morning at the City Hall building in Hanson, Kentucky.
Chicken, Milk, eggs, fruits, and vegetables, along with other non-perishable items were available in the free boxes.

The drive up food giveaway was all made possible by Hopkins County and City of Hanson officials.
“We are blessed here in Hopkins County that the communities in the county along with the county government has all came together to help support all of us in Hopkins County," said City of Hanson Clerk Casey Pearson.
The food provided was all part of the USDA carefree program.
