INDOT's Message to Drivers: "Don't Crowd the Plow"

INDOT Southwest continues its efforts to clear area roadways of snow. On Monday afternoon a wintry mix moved into the tri-state leaving behind up to ten inches in some our northwestern communities. It's beautiful to look at but if you have to drive in it you will want to give yourself extra time to safely make your commute.

"Don't Crowd the Plow," is the message from INDOT Southwest as the agency works around the clock to clear area roadways.

Storm Team 44 is calling for another 1-3 inches of snow Wednesday night into Thursday morning.

The lull between the two winter weather events is giving road crews time to try and clear a safe path, but with another round of a wintry mix headed our way, expect to take it slow if you do have to get out and drive.

On Tuesday, Jason Tiller with INDOT Southwest joined 44News This Morning to discuss what drivers need to be aware of as crews continue to plow roadways.
