An additional 150 Indiana State Troopers will be patrolling Hoosier roads in March.

March Madness comes with a full-court press courtesy of Indiana State Police.

The agency will be putting an additional 150 Troopers on Hoosier Roads next month.

With events like the NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament in Indianapolis this year and the St. Patrick's Day holiday approaching, they expect an increase in drunk driving incidents statewide.

ISP is expecting to see more drunk drivers on the roads no matter the events, as COVID-19 cases decline, and more people get out and about.

It's going to be a beautiful afternoon with highs topping out in the low to mid 60s. You better enjoy today because rain chances are moving in tonight. Unfortunately, they'll be sticking around for the weekend. Saturday and Sunday will have pop up shower chances with highs in the upper 50s and lower 60s.
