A Kankakee, Illinois man remains behind bars following a high-speed pursuit Wednesday in Gibson County.
The Gibson County Sheriff's Office said that 32-year-old Donal Forbes is facing multiple charges after leading multiple agencies in a chase from Princeton, Indiana to the Pike-Gibson County line.
Deputies said that Forbes was originally pulled over after 6:30 p.m. along Broadway Street after calls came in that he was allegedly driving recklessly.
Forbes gave the deputy a driver's license, in which the name and picture did not match him. When the deputy went back to his vehicle to request additional units, Forbes pulled away from the scene.
Gibson County, along with the Princeton Police Department and Indiana State Police, were involved in the chase that went along State Road 65 to the county line.
Before making it to the county line, the car wrecked and Forbes was taken into custody. He was transported to the Gibson County Jail, where he remains on a $1500 bond.
No officers were injured during the pursuit.
