Indiana Confirms 4 New Local COVID-19 Deaths, 58 New Deaths Statewide

New COVID-19 deaths were confirmed in Vanderburgh, Warrick, Posey, and Dubois counties.

The Indiana State Department of Health said Monday that four new COVID-19 deaths had been identified in southwest Indiana.

The new local COVID-19 deaths identified Monday occurred in Vanderburgh, Warrick, Posey, and Dubois counties, with one new death occurring in each county.

Including the four local deaths reported Monday, ISDH said 58 new COVID-19 deaths had occurred statewide. That brought the total number of Hoosiers now known to have died from COVID-19 to 11,459, according to ISDH.

Additionally, 1,065 new positive cases of the virus were reported throughout the Hoosier State on Monday.

That brought the number of Indiana residents who have tested positive for COVID-19 to date to 640,744 total.
