The Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH) is reporting new COVID-19 numbers throughout the Hoosier State for Thursday, July 30.
Locally, there was one new COVID-19 death reported in Indiana's Spencer County. That brought the total number of COVID-19 deaths in Spencer County to three.
Statewide, Indiana reported 13 new COVID-19 deaths - bringing the total number of Hoosiers known to have died of COVID-19 to 2,746 to date, since ISDH recorded the state's first coronavirus death on March 15.
ISDH also reported 970 new positive cases of coronavirus statewide on Thursday - the state's second-highest single-day increase in new positive cases to date. Thursday's increase brought the number of total positive cases identified in the state to 65,253 to date.
To date, tests for 735,848 unique Indiana individuals have been reported to ISDH, making the state's positivity rate 8.9%.
According to ISDH 41.8% of ICU beds and 83.9% of ventilators were available statewide on Thursday.
