Today the Indiana State Senate is set to vote on a bill aimed at lifting limits for police officers and firefighters on where they can work within the state.

Currently, individuals that are residing in a county, can commute to another city for work if it's located within 50 miles of the resident's home.

If approved the bill will be sent to Governor Eric Holcomb's desk for signing.
