One person was killed in a three-car collision that closed down U.S. 60 West Thursday Night.

According to Kentucky State Police, the accident took place in the 2600 block of US 60 West near Henderson Community College.

23-year-old Christian T. Flint of Morganfield was identified by KSP as the man who was killed in the crash. Police say Flint's vehicle ran off the shoulder of the roadway and struck a guardrail.

One other individual was also injured in the crash. KSP Troopers believe Flint's vehicle struck two other vehicles, hospitalizing one of the drivers.

The highway was closed for four hours following the accident for investigation.

Henderson County Coroner’s Office, Henderson County Sheriff’s Department and other agencies assisted troopers at the scene.

The investigation is on-going.
