In an interactive interview, 44News Reporter Ella Shemwell participated in a storytime segment with Evansville Vanderburgh Public Library's outreach facilitator Zack Hoskins during Library Day at Wesselman Woods on Wednesday.

Ella and Zack read "Tap the Magic Tree" by Christie Matheson.

Interactive storybooks like the one read by Ella and Zack were just a small part of the events offered Wednesday at Wesselman Woods for Library Day.

Kids and families were also able to participate in a guided hike and animal encounters where they learned more about nature.

Library Day was held from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday.

Monday morning, we will see partly sunny skies with temperatures still in the mid 20°s. By the afternoon, we will be warming up into the mid 40°s with cloud coverage increasing. This is due to a cold front expected to traverse the tri-state overnight Monday.
