We’re finally starting to dry out after waking up to damp conditions across the Tri-State. It was a mess out there this morning with scattered rainfall moving in from the southwest. Not only were the temperatures on the warm side this morning, dew points were well into the low 60s, making it feel quite muggy.

While I believe we are pretty much done with the rain, there are still some isolated shower chances sticking around this afternoon. It’s mostly cloudy outside right now, but there are some signs of them breaking up later today. There’s a good chance we could catch some sunshine by the time folks are heading home from work. Highs will be in the upper 70s and lower 80s.

If you have plans tonight, you should be in the clear. The rainfall will be out of the area and temperatures will be in the lower 70s. Dry and cloudy conditions will be likely overnight, but we should be done with the rain for the extended forecast. It will be another warm start to our Thursday morning with partly cloudy skies and temperatures in the mid 60s. Tomorrow afternoon will be absolutely gorgeous as high pressure takes over. Highs are expected to top out in the mid 80s.

The sunshine and heat will be abundant through the Tri State for next week. The mercury will be in a steady incline from the lower to mid 90s each afternoon through midweek.
