In Jasper, Indiana, Franklin K Gramelspacher, 46, was convicted of multiple counts of child molestation following a two-day jury trial at the Dubois Circuit Court today (3/31).
Gramelspacher was tried on 14 counts of criminal conduct initiated by Jasper Police in September of 2019. Gramelspacher's victim, a child less than 12 years old reported the sexual abuse to authorities that lasted over 2 years.

The victim described Gramelspacher as engaging in various sexual acts, including exposing the minor to pornography.
After the successful prosecution and trial, Dubois County Prosecutor, Anthony Quinn stated, "I commend the victim in this case for having the courage to come forward....I am pleased we were able to deliver justice in this case and put a stop to this reprehensible conduct..."
Gramelspacher faces heavy sentencing after numerous felony charges regarding molestation.
A sentencing hearing is scheduled for April 20, 2021, at 11 AM at the Dubois Circle Court. Gramelspacher is in Dubois County Jail custody until that time.
