In Jasper, Indiana, Franklin K Gramelspacher, 46, was convicted of multiple counts of child molestation following a two-day jury trial at the Dubois Circuit Court today (3/31).

Gramelspacher was tried on 14 counts of criminal conduct initiated by Jasper Police in September of 2019. Gramelspacher's victim, a child less than 12 years old reported the sexual abuse to authorities that lasted over 2 years.

Gramelspacher faces heavy sentencing after numerous felony charges regarding molestation.

A sentencing hearing is scheduled for April 20, 2021, at 11 AM at the Dubois Circle Court. Gramelspacher is in Dubois County Jail custody until that time.

Our snowy, slick start to the day gave way to a gloomy, gray and chilly afternoon throughout the Tri-State. After only reaching temperatures in the mid 30s early in the day, we will see temperatures gradually tumble back down into the upper 20s by 10 o’clock. Despite the gradual clearing conditions overnight (which would normally lead too a much colder morning), the mercury is expected to remain relatively stable into early Tuesday morning. The return of a southerly wind flow overnight will help keep the temperatures milder as we head towards daybreak.
