The Henderson Police Department says a juvenile was cited for DUI in Henderson on Sunday after driving under the influence and crashing into two parked vehicles.

HPD says officers responded to the 1500 block of Clay Street early Sunday morning around 1:08 a.m. in reference to a crash.

When officers arrived, a witness at the scene told them that she saw a silver passenger car traveling west on Clay Street that collided with two parked vehicles.

Police say the driver of that vehicle was found to be an impaired juvenile and was transported to Deaconess hospital for medical attention. The juvenile was cited for DUI.

HPD is continuing to investigate the incident and is asking anyone with additional information to contact the department at (270) 831-1295.
