Kentucky State Police Post 2 is asking for the public's help in identifying the driver or company of a commercial white 2018-2022 Freightliner Cascadia.
According to KSP, the driver/vehicle in question could be connected to the death of 29-year-old Michael "Andrew" Dowd, whose body was found off of I-69 several days after he was reported missing in early February.

KSP says that evidence recovered from the scene on I-69 indicates the white Freightliner Cascadia could have struck Dowd between Feb. 4 and Feb. 7, causing damage to the front passenger headlight assembly and hood.\

The incident occurred near the city of Nortonville, on the southbound side of Interstate 69, near the 103 mile marker in Hopkins County, Kentucky.
KSP says it's possible that the commercial truck driver did not realize they struck Dowd and may have thought they hit an animal or object.
Any commercial vehicle company with damage sustained, involving the replacement of the passenger headlight assembly and hood, are asked to contact the Kentucky State Police, Post 2 at 270-676-3313.
