Governor Andy Beshear has recommended all Kentucky schools delay in-person class until the end of September.
Previously, Beshear had recommended that they wait until the third week of August. Now, he's saying he thinks schools should take the necessary step of delaying class even longer.

He's asking both public and private schools to hold off on in-person instruction until September 28th.
The governor said he wants kids back in school, but believes starting virtually is the best way.
He discussed his recommendation with superintendents today.
