Kentucky High School Football Season to Begin Sept 11: KHSAA

The KHSAA Board of Control met on Tuesday to decide the fate of High School football in Kentucky.

The Kentucky High School Athletic Association (KHSAA) Board of Control met on Tuesday to vote on when the High School football season would officially begin in Kentucky.

The board approved a recommended motion to officially begin the Kentucky high school football season on Sept. 11, with the first date of official practice beginning on Aug. 24.

The first round of football playoffs was also set for Nov. 13 and 14 (instead of Nov. 6 and 7). The Championships at Kroger Field on UK Campus have been set for Dec. 11 and 12.
