Kentucky State Police and local law enforcement are on the scene of a bizarre string of events near Beaver Dam that authorities are still working to link together.

According to Kentucky State Police Trooper Corey King, three people have been reported shot dead outside of a home at 5700 US-62 in the town of McHenry. The bodies were found on rural farm property after a 911 call came in about 4:30 pm Wednesday.

Police say a barn was also on fire on that same property. Investigators are still unsure of the connection of the shooting deaths to the barn fire. On Thursday, a fourth victim was found dead at the scene of the home on US 62.

In addition to that, there was also a fatal single-vehicle crash being investigated in Ohio County at the time.

The sheriff's office says initial investigation indicates the driver was traveling west on US 62 when they struck a concrete pillar. The driver was life-flighted to the hospital and the passenger in the vehicle, who was identified as 38-year-old Jamie Davis of Beaver Dam, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Ohio County first responders were stretched thin responding to all of those events in a short amount of time on Wednesday.

Kentucky State Police say it is too early to know if or how these incidents are connected.

The investigation continues and anyone with information is urged to contact the Kentucky State Police.
