Ohio County Sheriff's Office arrested a Hartford man who has been eluding authorities since June of 2019.

46-year-old Terry Lee Chanley left from a halfway house in Louisville, Kentucky on June 22, 2019.

An arrest warrant was generated two days later charging him with Escape 2nd Degree.

He was previously arrested on drug-related charges in March of 2017.

Acting on a tip, officers arrived at a home in Hartford and took Chanley into custody without incident.

He was found to be in possession of two handguns, drug paraphernalia and quantities of marijuana, methamphetamine and Xanax pills.

The passage of an overnight cold front will bring another shot of unseasonal cool air. Northwest winds will give way to raw conditions with windchills holding in the 30s through most of the day. Expect highs to top in the upper-40s under clear skies.
