Most of the Tri-State stepped out the door to cool and clear conditions this morning. Temperatures were in the mid to upper 50s, with Evansville's low dipping down to 57°. Temperatures will stay seasonably cool once again today as high pressure settles in over the Tri-State. You can expect the northerly winds to help temperatures stay on the cooler side; we're only expected to top out in the high 70s. Low temperatures will be feeling fall-like overnight; some areas could be dipping down into the mid to upper 50s.
As we head through the rest of the work week, expect to see a lot of sunshine, low humidity, and no rain. Highs will still be seasonably low, staying right around 80° through Thursday. Unfortunately, these amazing conditions are only temporary. We'll trend warmer on Friday, with high temperatures becoming more seasonable in the mid 80s.
Summer-like weather will be moving back into the region this weekend. Expect rain chances and temperatures nearing the low 90s through the beginning of next week.
