By the end of the week, 25 golfers will be given their PGA cards, but this tournament helping more than just the golfers.

4C of Southern Indiana, a local non-profit that helps underprivileged children get prepared before kindergarten, is set to benefit tremendously from this tournament.

“When you can benefit a charitable organization like 4C of Southern Indiana, it’s such a good feeling for all of us, and the board is really behind us in our efforts to support 4C this year," said Jack Pate of Golf Gives Back.

4C of Southern Indiana says more than 1200 children will be directly affected by the money brought in at this year’s tournament.

“So we’ll be able to look at two sites here in Evansville, Carver and Fair Lawn as two of the target sites for the dollars that are being supported by golf gives back," said Aleisha Sheridan, CEO of 4C of Southern Indiana.

And all net proceeds from this tournament will be going to 4C of Southern Indiana, so Pate wants everyone in the area to come down and catch some great action on the links.

“This year, I anticipate we’ll be well over $100,000 at least,: said Pate. "It just depends on how many spectators come out. We want spectators to come out, because whenever you enter and whatever you spend here benefits 4C of Southern Indiana.”

Golf Gives Back says this year, thanks to the expected $100,000+ raised. they expect to break the $2 million mark in the amount of money their tournaments have raised for local organizations.
