Road work in Webster County will close lanes in both directions on a portion of KY 2839 on Thursday.
According to the Kentucky Transporation Cabinet, a contractor will be paving the full width of the road. The work is between KY 873 (mile marker 2.587) and U.S. 41-A (mile marker 4.534)
The closures will begin at 7:00 a.m. and are expected to be completed by 5:00 p.m. on Thursday October, 21.
There will not be any marked detours. Drivers are encouraged to find alternate routes.
