TUESDAY: The majority of the rainfall from Ida is moving into the Tri-State and will continue for most of the afternoon. Most of the activity will be exclusive for communities in the southeastern portion of the Tri-State. However, the tropical system continues to weaken, which could limit us to the amount of rainfall we were originally expecting. Most of our counties in the north and western half of the Tri-State should stay primarily dry under mostly cloudy skies. Highs will be right around the upper 70s and lower 80s, but keep in mind that this tropical moisture from Ida will keep the humidity levels higher.
TUESDAY NIGHT: There is a likely chance of scattered storms continuing into the evening hours, but very minimal. Waking up tomorrow morning should be dry with temperatures in the mid to upper 60s.
REST OF THE WEEK: Cooler and comfortable air will arrive Wednesday and will stay with us for the remainder of the work week.
