Live Christmas Tree Recycling Options in Evansville

EWSU residential customers can put their live Christmas trees out with the trash by January 15 for pick up.

If you are still looking to recycle that live Christmas tree, without strapping it back on top of your roof, you have a little more time.

For Evansville residential water and trash customers, Republic Services will pick up the Christmas tree for free.

The tree should be placed next to the regular trash. It is only available for residential customers—not for apartment or commercial buildings.

The deadline for pick-up is January 15th.

Live Christmas trees will also be accepted at the annual Christmas tree recycling drop-off on Saturday, January 9, 2021.

The event runs from 8 a.m. until noon at the old Walmart west parking lot on University Drive.
