COVID-19 continues to rise across the Tri-State, as local athletics are still suffering the consequences.

Madisonville North-Hopkins saw their football season come to an end, one week before the playoffs are to begin. The KHSAA pushed back the beginning of the playoffs for teams to be healthy heading into the postseason, but for the Maroons, their football season will come to an end.

As for Castle, the girls basketball program was forced to cancel and postpone two weeks worth of games, due to contact tracing from their game against Jeffersonville this past weekend.
