From fast food joints to locally-owned restaurants, businesses across the Tri-State have had to deal with employees needing to quarantine throughout the pandemic.
Along Lincoln Avenue in Evansville, Lic's is temporarily shut down and the Wendy's closed early on Sunday.

The manager at Pie Pan in Evansville says she's gotten lucky and has not had to close. However, with some workers out for COVID-related reasons, like many restaurants, the Pie Pan is asking for patience and understanding from customers if service is a little slow.
"Working short staffed when you're supposed to have four or five waitresses and you've got two or you're supposed to have two cooks and two preps in the kitchen and you only have one of each, it's a struggle and we're doing the best we can. We'd like to remind people kindness is free," said Jackie Weil with a good reminder that kindness costs you nothing.
Starting Feb. 1 at Pie Pan, customers will be able to pick up prepackaged family sized meals to go.
