56-year old Charles Moore of Madisonville is facing an assault charge after shooting a man in the leg on Thanksgiving afternoon.
Officers say the victim was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
During the investigation officers recovered a rifle, ammunition, marijuana, and drug pataphernalia.
