After a joint investigation into drug trafficking in Western Kentucky, multiple agencies came together to arrest a Madisonville woman for trafficking meth.
Jamie Oakley, age 37, was charged with trafficking a controlled substance after authorities searched a residence on Allison Avenue in Madisonville and found more than two grams of meth, drug paraphernalia that was indicative of drug trafficking, and money believed to be proceeds from drug trafficking.
The arrest follows a lengthy investigation that saw detectives from the Madisonville-Hopkins County Vice/Narcotics Unit, Christian County Sheriff's Office, Kentucky State Police Drug Enforcement/Special Investigations West, and the ATF come together to investigate the importation of large quantities of meth into Western Kentucky.
The investigation included confidential sources, cooperating defendants, and anonymous tips that led to the arrest of Oakley.
