Majority of Kids Eat Breakfast Daily According to new Data

A new National Health and Nutrition Examination survey finds more than 80 percent of kids are eating the most important meal of the day.

About 82 percent of children are eating breakfast every day according to new data from a National Health and Nutrition Examination survey.

The survey also finds older kids were less likely to eat breakfast. Among some of the most common breakfast items: milk, cereal and water -- believe it or not!

The American Academy of Pediatrics recommends children eat breakfast to maintain healthy body weight, better memory as well as attention.
