Police say Christopher Williams is the man accused of going into an Eastside Starbucks Saturday and showing an employee a handgun.
According to Evansville Police, the Starbucks employee made the call to police and reported the suspect who reportedly walked into the store around 5:45
The employee also told officers that the suspect ordered her to go into the bathroom, after showing a handgun on his waist. The employee refused to comply and attempted to reason with the suspect.
After the encounter, EPD says the suspect told the employee the gun was a toy and left the coffee shop.
Police say they found Williams nearby, but were unable to find a weapon.
According to Vanderburgh County Sherriff's Office, 41-year-old Christopher Lee Williams is now in police custody facing multiple charges including possession of a syringe, resisting law enforcement, and intimidation.
