A Union County man is facing several charges after the sheriff's office says he fired his pistol into his neighbor's apartment while intoxicated.
According to the Union County Sheriff's Office, multiple law enforcement agencies responded to the Northside Apartments complex in Morganfield around 11:30 p.m. on Monday night for a shots fired call.
When deputies arrived, UCSO says they found Dennis Wilson outside in the area where the shot was heard. They say he appeared to be intoxicated.
After a brief investigation, the sheriff's office says it was discovered that Wilson had fired his pistol inside his apartment. UCSO says the bullet was found in the apartment next door after it had traveled through Wilson's couch and through the wall.
Wilson was arrested and charged with Alcohol Intoxication in a Public Place and Wanton Endangerment 1st Degree.
The Kentucky State Police and the Morganfield Police Department assisted in the investigation.
