At least one person is now dead after an ATV accident Saturday night.

Rick Millikan, the Morganfield Fire Chief, posted the news to Facebook that there had been an ATV accident that night.

He asks for the community to pray for the victims and family of the ATV accident, including the emergency services that worked it.

"Although the outcome isn’t completely what we had hoped for I must say that every member of Union County Fire/Rescue, Morganfield Rescue, Deaconess EMS, Union County Sheriff's Office and AirEvac Lifeteam provided the highest level of care possible for our patients," Millikan said. "Big thanks to the dispatchers at Union County 911 that got us on location quickly with every update available during a very hectic response."

Another Union County man posted to Facebook that his son had died in the accident.

44News will continue to update as we find out more about possible other victims.

It was another cool, though overall pleasant day across the Tri-State - after only seeing temperatures dive as low as 22° early this morning, peak temperatures ended up climbing a few degrees higher than Thursday's; that being said, Evansville’s high temperature of 27° Was still 15° below average for this time of the year. As for the evening ahead, temperatures will gradually fall for 23° around dinner time back down to 19° by10 PM. A weak northerly wind flow most of the night paired with our crystal clear skies will cause temperatures to of fall back down into the mid to low teens once again - Evansville's anticipated low temperature of 12° will mark or coolest since the morning of January 7th.
