Man Found Guilty of Murder in 2019 Death of Warrick County Woman

Antholy Wolfe Jr. was found guilty of Murder and other charges in court on Wednesday in connection to the 2019 death of Valarie Ruark of Boonville.

On Wednesday morning, Anthony Wolfe Jr. was found guilty of Murder, Abuse of a Corpse, and Obstruction of Justice in connection to the death of a Boonville Woman.

It was a long night for the jury on Wolfe's case. They began deliberations at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday and reached their verdict around 6:30 a.m. on Wednesday morning.

Wolfe will be sentenced for the crime on June 14 at 2:00 p.m.

The guilty verdict comes after the 2019 death of 32-year-old Valarie Ruark of Boonville.

An investigation began after Ruark's body was found badly burned in a field in Warrick County. 

Two other suspects are also facing charges in connection to the case.
