Man in Custody Following Hold-Up Alarm at Evansville CVS Pharmacy

The call came into dispatch early Friday morning after 7:00 a.m.

One man remains in police custody following a call for a hold-up in progress at a local pharmacy Friday morning.

Evansville Police said that they receive calls after 7:00 a.m. from the CVS Pharmacy in the 800 block of North First Avenue. 

When officers arrived, the man was already outside of the store, claiming that he was "tired of being homeless."

He was not armed when taken into custody. EPD continues to investigate the incident.
